Connecting Network Devices to the Student Housing Wi-Fi (CSLA-RES)

The CSLA-RES wireless network is available to student housing residents for connecting smart TVs, streaming devices, and gaming consoles.

 

 Devices Not Compatible with CSLA-RES  

  • Laptops, desktops, phones, and tablets
  • Google Chromecast
  • Google Home and Nest devices
  • Printers
  • Nintendo Switch (online gaming features)

 

To Connect Your Device to CSLA-RES

  1. Submit a Network Device Registration Request.
    • Submit a separate request for each device.
  2. Wait for the confirmation email.
    • After your request is processed, you will receive a passcode by email.
    • Processing may take up to 2 business days.
  3. Connect your device to the CSLA-RES Wi-Fi.
    • Use the passcode provided in the email.
    • Follow your device manufacturer's instructions to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
    • Note: Devices are removed from the CSLA-RES network before the start of each semester. You must register each device again before reconnecting.

 

ITS does not provide support for individual games or device-specific features. However, you can report connectivity issues by submitting a ServiceNow ticket to the ITS Help Desk. Your feedback helps us monitor and improve the network over time.
