Freddy Carrillo ('20)
Freddy Carrillo joined Oracle in 2021. He received his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal State LA in 2020. While in Cal State LA, he specialized in computer engineering and networking and completed his thesis titled, PSoC 6 Dual-Core Performance (Arm Cortex-M4 and Arm Cortex-M0+) Using Machine Learning Application (Convolutional Neural Networks). During his search process, he interviewed for various engineering roles and with multiple companies. Ultimately, Freddy made the decision to join Oracle because the opportunity aligned with his vision of an ideal career. He is currently working with the Linux Networking team at Oracle and contributing with the development and performance improvement of Oracle’s products.
