UAV Competitions

Cal State LA is delighted to organize student-designed model aircraft competitions in 2024.  It is the second year for our CSU 3D-Printed Fixed-Wing Aircraft Competition, held on the Cal State LA campus, and the first for the California Unmanned Aerial Systems Competition, hosted by our partner, the Mojave Air & Space Port at their world-famous facility.

Industry Professionals

Judges and organizers are comprised of aeronautics, aerospace, engineering, and computer science professionals.

Student Opportunities

During this competition, students develop design skills, demonstrate talents, and build professional networks.

Recognition

Prizes will awarded for designs, simulations, and flight demonstrations. A grand prize will be awarded based on a composite score.

Join the Competition

We welcome college and university teams, whether as part of senior-design programs or student clubs, to join us at one or both Southern California competitions.
