Blanca Herrera, M.S., P.E. ('15)
Blanca Herrera graduated from Cal State LA with her Bachelor of Science in Civil engineering in 2015 and received her master’s in Civil Engineering in 2019 from the University of Southern California. She has been working as a Civil Engineering Associate since 2015 for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. In her role, she responds to Power System emergencies such as flash floods and wildfires on which she assess damages, prepares engineering solutions, and conducts coordination with State and Federal environmental agencies for the design and construction of needed repairs, as a means to maintain the proper operation of such facilities.
