Prerequisite Waiver

Please use the Prerequisite Waiver Application to request a Mechanical Engineering course permit or clearance only. The ME Department Office is open from 8:30 - 5:30 Monday - Friday for assistance with permits, course and program information, and general help with finding the answers to your questions. The Department Office is located at E&T A-205, the Office phone number is 323-343-4490, and the email is [email protected].

Senior Design

Do not submit a request for the Capstone Senior Design program

Requirement
  • If you earned a C- or CR in Spring 2020 for a prerequisite that has a C or better requirement. 
Current Student
  • If you are a current student who took a prerequisite at another college/university and the transcript has not been submitted, unofficial transcripts may be required.
Transfer Student
  • If you are a transfer student and the transcripts, including the prerequisite course(s) taken, have not been submitted, unofficial transcripts may be required.
