The 17th Annual ECST Open House in Partnership with Boeing will be held virtually on October 9, 2021, from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. This event kicks off the MESA College Prep Program at Cal State LA partner schools. Prospective students from middle school to community college are invited to take a closer look at Cal State LA, College of ECST, and The Boeing Company.
We are excited to host students from more than 25 schools and community colleges during this virtual event, along with our sponsors Boeing Global Engagement and the Employees Community Fund of Boeing California.
We look forward to seeing current MESA students become Cal State LA MESA University students in ECST, where we Commit to Excellence and Engage in Community.

Please register to attend this event. Once you have registered, you will receive an email with the event's Zoom links. Parent authorization is required for minors to participate. Parents will receive an email to authorize a minor child's participation. Please contact Thelma Federico, ECST Outreach Director, with questions.

Autonomous Submarine Robot
The RoboSub team at California State University, Los Angeles is an engineering team that builds autonomous submarine vehicles each year for the international RoboSub competition. Members have the opportunity to design advanced robotics systems and work on an interdisciplinary project to gain experience working with a team. The competition consists of a set of obstacles arranged in the Transducer Evaluation Center (TRANSDEC) pool at San Diego that each team's submarine must navigate autonomously.
