Division of Applied and Advanced Studies in Education
The Division of Applied and Advanced Studies in Education offers programs of study leading to a variety of credentials and certificates, graduate degrees and doctoral degrees.
Credential and Certificate Programs
Credential programs are offered in Educational Administration: Preliminary Administrative Services. Graduate Certificate programs are also offered in Computer Applications in Schools, Online Teaching and Learning, English as a Second or Foreign Language and Teachers of English Learners.
Graduate Programs
We offer the following five masters programs: Master of Arts in Educational Foundations, Master of Arts in Educational Technology, Track in Educational Technology Leadership; Master of Arts in Educational Technology, Track in E-Learning and New Media Design; Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages; and the Master of Arts in Educational Administration. Courses in Educational Foundations, Research, Evaluation, and Statistics are offered as service courses to other degree programs and credentials.
In addition, the Division offers a doctoral program (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership (Specializations in Pre-K-12 and postsecondary).
