Design Space:
To access the design space with hand tools, you will need to review the Makerspace rules and complete the Student Safety Training, which can be completed online here: https://www.calstatela.edu/ehs/engineering-computer-science-technology-student-safety-training
Please complete the "Hand and Power Tool Safety" and the "Shop Safety" student training that can be accessed after clicking the Safety Training course link.
Machine shop:
To access the machine shop, there are two options:
1. Attend the workshops that are regularly offered.
2. For those who have already taken TECH 1600, ME 2030, or have taken a comparable course or have comparable experience, come to the Makerspace and schedule a time to receive a safety refresher with one of our Shop Stewards.
