An emphasis in Environmental engineering within the special option has been established. Students receive a Bachelors Degree in Engineering with a special option in Environmental Engineering. Required and Elective courses. In this option courses will be taken in Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, and other related programs. Environment Engineers use principles in science and engineering to identify and quantify threats to the natural environment (Air, Water and Soil) and to design and implement technologies to improve it. They are employed by a wide variety of public institutions and are involved in all aspects of the discipline, ranging from policy to fundamental research to large-scale implementation of technologies.
