Gina Orozco is vice president, gas engineering and system integrity for SoCalGas and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), Sempra Energy’s regulated California utilities. In this position, she oversees gas engineering and system integrity, and has responsibility for engineering support, programs, operations training, asset management, research and development, geographic information systems and operations technology functions.
Ms. Orozco has a master’s degree in business administration from Claremont Graduate University, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cal State LA. She serves on the Board of Directors for two organizations - the California State Parks Foundation and the Adventist Health White Memorial Medical Center Charitable Foundation. In 2020, Ms. Orozco was named Woman of the Year by the Adventist White Memorial Foundation. In 2018, she was included in “The 50 Most Powerful Latinas in Business” by Latino Leaders and the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPHA).
