Dr. Alicia Carroll (they/them) is an assistant professor of comparative literature and a core faculty member of the Native American and Indigenous studies program at the University of California, Irvine, where they teach courses on Native American and Indigenous literatures, autobiography studies, Two-Spirit/Queer Indigenous studies, Indigenous feminist theories, and environmental racism and Indigenous ecocriticism. Their scholarship has appeared in American studies, gender studies, Native American literature, and literary and critical theory journals and anthologies, and their first book, Indiscipline: Reading Collaboratively Written Native American Autobiography, is forthcoming from the University of North Carolina Press.
