University Choirs
Cal State LA's Chamber Singers and Concert Choir perform on and off campus, providing students with a wide exposure to standard and contemporary choral literature.
Jazz Ensemble
The Cal State LA Jazz Orchestra perform jazz music from established standard repertoire, new and original charts by composers active today, and original work by our own students.
Commercial Music Ensembles
The Commercial Music Ensembles provide students with the invaluable experience of being in a pop commercial band, performing music in all styles and genres within the popular music realm.
Afro-Latin Ensemble
The Cal State LA Afro-Latin Ensemble is dedicated to the study, practice, and performance of Afro-Latin music, including cumbia, bachata, salsa, samba, and reggaeton.
University Bands
Cal State LA's Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band provide a quality collegiate-level ensemble experience to university students and community members playing woodwind and brass instruments.
Mariachi Ensemble
Cal State LA's Mariachi Águila de Oro presents concerts that chronicle the historical development of Mariachi as a musical art form.
Percussion Ensemble
The Cal State LA Percussion Ensemble performs a wide variety of percussion literature, drawn from world percussion traditions as well as classic and contemporary works for percussion ensemble.
