Arts & Letters advisors have the privilege of helping undergraduate students at Cal State LA earn their bachelor's degrees. Graduation is the end goal of your undergraduate education and the culmination of a fantastic journey of self-discovery and learning!

Students are responsible for confirming that all requirements have been met. Remember, walking the stage with your cap and gown is a ceremonial ritual. Graduation is a degree with a conferral date. In most cases, it is not required that students meet with an advisor to apply for graduation. You must apply for the term in which you will finish all of your requirements. Only qualifying candidates will participate in commencement.

Graduation Information

Degree Planner is an online tool allowing undergraduate students to map their entire academic path to graduation. Check your Degree Planner today to see if you are ready to Graduate!

Stay on track! Students’ degree progress and remaining academic requirements can be tracked using the CSU Academic Advisement Report (CAAR).
