CSGS Presents: “Queer Nature, A Conversation with Dr. Joan Roughgarden and Drew Denny”

Please join the Center for the Study of Genders and Sexualities for our event “Queer Nature.”  Dr. Joan Roughgarden will speak about her groundbreaking book, Evolution’s Rainbow, which tackles the question of ecology, biology, evolution, same-sex acts and sex-changing species in the animal world. Director and filmmaker Drew Denny will screen a clip of her documentary, Second Nature, which follows Dr. Roughgarden and other scientists in order to debunk the myth that being queer or trans is “unnatural.”
