In keeping with employers' needs, the Department of Engineering at Cal State L.A. has expanded the curriculum to include a greater breadth and flexibility of our mechanical engineering curriculum by hosting the BSE which allows graduates access to a greater variety of engineering careers. As a BSE with special option, youÂll be able to help solve the vital needs of human beings and our fragile planet ecosystems.
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) has three options: Environmental Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Rehabilitation Engineering. The options are by their nature interdisciplinary, with graduates of the program having wide knowledge in many scientific disciplines including mathematics, physics, biology, ecology, manufacturing, computers, technology, design and instrumentation.
