Current Projects 2025-2026

Where Vision Gets Engineered.
Engineering ingenuity transforms real-world challenges into bold, functional solutions. At Cal State LA’s College of ECST, our brightest minds in engineering, computer science, and technology aren’t just dreaming about the future; they’re building it. From sustainable energy systems to autonomous robotics, the Capstone Senior Design experience is a high-stakes fusion of theory and execution. What begins as an idea becomes a working innovation, ready to be seen, tested, and scaled.

Projects + Descriptions

ECST students apply their skills to meaningful projects that challenge them to think, design, and build. The computer science track runs for one year beginning in the Fall and wraps at the end of the Spring semester with a final project showcase at Expo, typically in May. Civil engineering, electrical and computer engineering, engineering technology, and mechanical engineering programs each run for one semester in both Fall and Spring, with projects showcased at Expo at the end of each semester, typically December and May.
