*ECST Graduate School INFO WEEK* Day Four

[ 1:00-2:00 p.m. ]
// Biomedical Engineering //

At the foundation of biomedical engineering is a deep understanding of engineering electrical, mechanical, and computing systems and the integration of knowledge in biology and medicine. The Biomedical Engineering faculty in ECST form a diverse interdisciplinary team with research areas ranging from computational models of neural networks to augmented reality for the visually impaired, neural stimulation therapies to smart connected mobile health applications for managing diabetes. Learn what we offer in the areas of biomedical devices, biomechanics, biocomputing, artificial intelligence, and smart health to prepare our students for careers developing high-tech advances in medicine and
healthcare.

[ 2:00-3:00 p.m. ]
// Sustainability: Systems and Processes //

The Engineering and Technology faculty in ECST form a diverse interdisciplinary team with research areas ranging from mathematical modeling and computational simulations to experimental analyses in solving real-world problems while preparing students for successful careers in industry and/or advanced graduate degrees.
Learn what we offer in the areas of research related to fluid and energy systems, water resources, hydrogen and biogas production, advanced sustainable transportation, resilient infrastructures, clean air, thermal control, solar energy, etc., all with the goal of achieving sustainability.
