During the calendar year 2021, ECST was fortunate to receive almost $1M in philanthropic gifts from alumni, friends, foundations, and corporations. A number of these gifts were renewals and even increases in the size of previous gifts – commitments that tell us you have confidence in us, our students, and our work. We deeply appreciate your ongoing support!
The figures below are overviews of the sources of gifts and how they are being used. Gifts given to the Acceleration Initiative are used for a variety of student-focused programs such as MESA, LAunchPad, Summer Transition to ECST Programs (STEP), the First-Year Experience at ECST (FYrE@ECST), the Successful Transfer and Retention (STAR) Program; and our Peer Mentor Program. General support gifts are used for a wide variety of activities including student travel, professional development, and remote laboratory kits.
