All prospective students, including students already enrolled in a Master’s program at Cal State LA, must apply for graduate admission in order to enroll in the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate program. Go to CSU Apply, select “Post-Bacc. Certificate” for “highest degree desired," and then select the WGSS Certificate at Cal State LA. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and meet the CSU’s minimum requirements for graduate admission, as defined here. Our program does not require an application essay, GRE scores, or letters of recommendation.
If you are currently enrolled as a graduate student in another program at Cal State LA, you can request a waiver of the application fee by emailing the WGSS Department Chair.
The application deadline for Fall admission is May 31st of the same calendar year and for Spring admission on November 1st of the previous year.
