Actor Matthew Dominguez

MATTHEW DOMINGUEZ

Matthew Dominguez is a first-year Cal State LA student majoring in Theatre Arts. Matthew is excited to work on this project. You might’ve seen him in his previous roles as Nigel and Donalbain in the 23'-24' school-year productions of Something Rotten and Macbeth. When he’s not performing, Matthew enjoys listening to his favorite music, playing video games, and making late-night trips to 7/11 with his friends. Matthew would like to give thanks to his parents Matt and Jenn, and his family, and friends for their continued support in his future endeavors.

Dr Carolyn Dunn

CAROLYN M. DUNN

Carolyn M. Dunn, MFA, PhD., is an Indigenous artist of Cherokee, Muskogee Creek, and Seminole descent on her father’s side, and is French Creole (French-Canadian, African, Tunica/Choctaw/Biloxi/Ishak) on her mother’s. Her life as a storyteller encompasses both poetry and playwriting with works about family, grief, resilience, and the landscape in all genres and in between. In addition to the award-winning Outfoxing Coyote (That Painted Horse Press, 2002), her books include Through the Eye of the Deer (with Carol Zitzer-Comfort, Aunt Lute Books, 1999), Coyote Speaks (with Ari Berk, HN Abrams, 2008) Echolocation: Poems, Stories and Songs from Indian Country: L.A. (Fezziweg Press, 2013), The Stains of Burden and Dumb Luck (Mongrel Empire Press, 2017), three forthcoming titles, The Frybread Queen, Soledad, and Three Sisters: Three Plays by Carolyn Dunn (edited and with an introduction by Sarah dAngelo, No Passport Press, 2024) and Decentered Playwriting, coedited with Leslie Hunter and Eric Micha Holmes, Routledge, 2023). and more. Her plays The Frybread Queen, Ghost Dance, and Soledad have been developed and staged at Native Voices at the Autry, and her current work in progress is the pow wow comedy entitled Chasing Tailfeathers, commissioned by Oklahoma Indigenous Theatre Company; and Coyote Woman, commissioned by Rising Youth Theater in Phoenix. Stage acting credits include Desert Stories for Lost Girls, The Bingo Palace, Citizen, Neechie-itas, Sliver of a Full Moon and the musicals Distant Thunder and Missing Peace. Dr. Dunn is a member of the Dramatists Guild and Actor’s Equity. She lives part-time in Los Angeles and part-time in Oklahoma with her family.

Sunny Hill

SUNNY HILL

Sunny Hill is a student at Cal State LA. She is studying to complete her bachelor’s in theater. She has appeared in the department productions of References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot and recently in Macbeth. She’s been acting for a while and loves being on stage. She’s been in a few student films at Cal state LA and off-campus.

COKO KIRTON

Coko Kirton is in her final semester at Cal State LA, majoring in Theatre Arts. Coko is a transfer student from Santa Monica College and is so excited to be able to take part in her first ever Beckett play. She was most recently seen as "Portia" in Something Rotten, directed by Meredith Greenberg, and as Hecate and Caithness in Macbeth, directed by Stephen Rothman. Coko plans to pursue acting after she graduates in any capacity she can, but her goal is to create her own body of work through writing and directing. Coko would like to thank the entire theatre department faculty and staff for creating a space where she was able to learn and grow without ever feeling like she wasn't supported. She would also like to thank Duncan Martinez for being supportive, caring, and helping her grow to heights she never thought possible.

Benjamin Leon

BENJAMIN LEON JR.

Benjamin Leon Jr. is an actor at heart, working in multiple productions throughout his life. He just graduated from Cal State LA with a Theatre Art's degree and looks forward to continuing his love for performing. Benjamin would like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him.

Henry Meza

HENRY ALEXANDER MEZA

Henry Alexander Meza is a Cal State Long Beach BA Theatre Arts graduate. He is currently an MFA: Content Creation candidate at California State University Los Angeles. A native Angeleno and versatile artist, Henry is a dedicated director, writer, and actor. He is honored and excited to perform in his first Samuel Beckett play and looks forward to more work in LA's theatre and film industries.

Miracle Moore

MIRACLE MOORE

Miracle Moore is an undergrad student at Cal State LA. While she is working towards her B.A. in psychology, her first love is the arts. Miracle has been in two Cal State LA productions, the first being last semester's musical Something Rotten, and the latter being this semester's rendition of Shakespeare's Macbeth. She has also acted in a number of student films, and plans to pursue a career in acting once she graduates. Miracle would like to thank all of her friends and family for the constant love and support they give her as she continues to follow her many passions. Additionally, Miracle would like to dedicate this performance, and every future performance to the life of her mommy. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13 ❤️

Delaney Reineke

DELANEY REINEKE

Delaney Reineke is a 2024 graduate from Cal State LA. She started performing on stage via dance, and first started pursuing theater in High School. She has been obsessed with live performance ever since. In her most recent performance, Delaney portrayed one of the Witches in Cal State LA's production of Macbeth. Delaney would like to thank her family, friends, and everyone involved in this project for supporting her.

Paulyn Sreekhwan

PAULYN SREEKHWAN

Paulyn Sreekhwan just finished her last semester at Cal State LA as a theatre major with an emphasis in performance. Even though she graduated, this will be Paulyn’s fifth show and she is very fortunate for this opportunity. She was most recently seen in Macbeth as the third witch and in the 2025 MFA cohort’s 10-minute play festival, Int. Bar - Day. She would like to thank everyone involved with the Samuel Beckett project for this opportunity - all the cast, crew, and directors. Secondly, she would like to thank her family and friends for their continuous love and support.

Delilah Valerie

DELILAH VALERIE

Delilah Valerie is a recent graduate of Cal State LA, majoring in Theater with an option in Performance. She has worked as a reader for the John Lion New Plays Festival, performed in INT. BAR - DAY, and starred in Macbeth as the role of Gentlewoman. Delilah has also performed at Irvine Valley College in the musical Oliver!, playing the role of Mrs. Sowerberry. Delilah would like to thank her family for their undying support of her pursuit of acting.

Ben Vega

BEN VEGA

Ben Vega is an actor and professional singer. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance at Cal State LA. This is Ben’s third production with the college. He's appeared on television, stage, and independent films. During the pandemic, he hosted an online jazz show called, “The Ben Vega Show”. Classically he has performed with such groups as the LA Symphony and Choir, and the Cal State LA Chamber Singers. Ben has also appeared in such productions as The Tragedy of Macbeth, Footloose the Musical, The Music Man, and Babes in Toyland, to name a few. He is privileged to have the love and support of family and friends.

Sophia Hernandez

SOPHIA HERNANDEZ

Sophia Hernández (Director, Catastrophe) is an emerging Chicana filmmaker and theater-maker based in Los Angeles. A recent alumna of the Theater Arts and Performance Studies Dept. at Brown University and currently pursuing her MFA in Theater, Film, and Television at CSULA, she gravitates towards telling stories about social justice and the Latinx community. Her most recent work includes co-editing on the independent documentary Hummingbirds, winner of The Grand Prix of the Generation 14Plus International Jury for the Best Film at Berlinale Film Festival 2023, and assistant directing the U.S. premiere of Arthur Miller’s The Hook in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

Duncan Martinez

DUNCAN MARTINEZ

Duncan Martinez is an MFA Candidate at Cal State LA. He loves film and narrative, and all things creative. He has directed four short films, four short plays, and written a few things along the way. With one year to go, he plans to create as much as possible until he has to get a real job. He plans to continue striving to create... His goal is to foster community through art, to see the people around him thrive, and to be a staunch supporter of bunny rights.

Allan Tijamo

Allan Tijamo (What Where, Director) will start his third year of MFA in TVFT (Writing Option) in Fall 2024. Screenwriting credits include Blue Moon (Joel Lamangan/Regal Films) and My Kuya’s Wedding (Topel Lee/Regal Films). Directing and editing credits include GayTV (TV pilot), A Summer’s Rage (documentary short), and Scars (short film). He's thankful to Tanya Kane-Parry and Dr. Katherine Weiss for this opportunity, and grateful for the chance to work with actors Ben Vega, Delilah Valerie, Benjamin Leon Jr., Paulyn Sreekhwan, and fellow MFA student Henry Meza on this project.

Jorj Inglewood

JORJ INGLEWOOD is a writer/producer, director, musician and father of three. A UCLA honors graduate with a BA in Communications, JORJ is now pursuing an MFA in Theater, Film and Television (Writing Focus) at Cal State Los Angeles ℅ 2025. JORJ’s work often concerns identity, race relations, music, dance and sports. JORJ received the 2023 and 2024 Truman Capote Fellowship Award for creative writing and was selected as a 2024 Hollywood Foreign Press scholarship recipient. In 2015, JORJ was an Executive Producer on the scripted comedy series The Crossroads of History which aired on the History Channel. JORJ has written two full length plays, Timeproof and Three Orange Apples, several short plays, a feature length screenplay Ineffable inspired by the life and art of Francis Bacon and three television drama pilots A Permanent Sunset, Sign of the Whale and Handling. Yousef Javier

YOUSEF JAVIER

Yousef Javier is musician, educator, and scholar based out of Los Angeles, California and received his Master of Music degree at California State University, Los Angeles with an emphasis in Afro-Latin music. He has toured internationally as a bassist with groups such as La Misa Negra, Bang Data, Barrio Manouche, and Orchestra Gold. As an educator, he has a rich passion for music of the African diaspora and is interested in linking music to culture in ways that are both accessible and empowering for young people. He believes that music and the arts are an important component in the fight for social justice and integral to the self-determination and achievement of students.

Ketzali Antu Saravia Umana

KETZALI ANTU SARAVIA UMANA

Ketzali Antu Saravia Umana is a multi-instrumentalist, mixed Afro Salvi, queer, non binary trans woman, currently studying percussion with Prof. Joey de Leon in the Afro Latin M.M. program at California State University, Los Angeles. She resides in Tovaangar (colonially known as Los Angeles) where she played and toured locally with the now-disbanded Progressive Metal band, Color Inn (formerly Synapse), as a drummer and songwriter from 2012-2018. She holds a B.A. in Central American Studies with a minor in American Indian Studies from California State University, Northridge where she was an organizer with the Central American United Student Association (CAUSA) and the American Indian Student Association (AISA). In her time as a student organizer, Ketzali co-organized a music festival for Indigenous People’s Day called, “Indigeridoo”, which created a safe space for leftist student activists of color to express themselves, connect with each other’s cultures and recover from the ongoing student protests at the time against the CSU’s racist executive order, “EO 1100”. Ketzali was recently featured on Kai’s debut single, “High Tide”, playing congas and drums for alternate versions of the track.

Mily Cunningham

MILY CUNNINGHAM

Mily is an undergrad student at Cal State LA, a Major in the Department of Television, Film, and Media Studies. She has worked in production design, including costuming, and producing since starting her studies here in 2022. Mily's passion lies in bringing ideas to life through entertainment.

Jayden Lozada

JAYDEN LOZADA

Jayden Lozada is the Lighting Assistant and Light Board Operator for The Beckett Project.  This is Jayden's first year in the Department of Theatre and Dance, and his experiences working in the Scene Shop and working various roles backstage in the Spring 2024 productions have been inspiring and very educational.  He's gotten to learn a ton of practical, hands-on skills and meet and work with and befriend a lot of very cool humans.  

David Yang

DAVID YANG

David Yang: Sound Assistant and Qlab Operator. Cal State LA student majoring in Theater. He worked as a carpenter for Fighting Back, Stupid F**king Bird, Eurydice, Something Rotten, Night Shift, and Macbeth. David is thrilled to work as a sound operator again since forever ago. David would like to thank all his mentors for guiding him and thank his family and friends for being supportive on his journey to become a great technician.
