Items contained in the following categories are either pre-approved or exempt (unless otherwise noted) from the accessible procurement process; An ICT Purchase Request form is not required for any of the following purchases:

Computer Supplies

  • CDs
  • Toner/ink
  • Paper
  • Forms

Output devices with non-transferable information

  • Monitors
  • Displays
  • Projectors
  • Permanently mounted projectors
  • Speakers and headphones
  • Televisions

Input devices

  • Mice, trackballs, switches, or other input peripherals
  • Keyboards of all sorts
  • Presenter devices including document cameras
  • Wacom or similar writing and drawing tablets (Bluetooth input devices)

  • Data storage devices of all sorts (note: Departments are responsible for securing Level 1 and 2 confidential data on all devices, including those excluded from this approval process)

  • As applies to CCOE's Special Education Credential program as well as OSD, all assistive technology hardware and software is exempt from ICT review.
