The College of Education (COE) is a learning community of faculty, administrators, staff, COE students and community members that works collaboratively to ensure that all COE students receive a quality education, honor the diversity of all learners, advocate for educational and community reforms, develop reflective practices that promote equity, and facilitate the maximum learning and achievement potential of all children and adults.

Accomplishments
- Over 700 students admitted to COE's credential and certificate programs.
- 130 students placed in 22 nearby school districts/agencies for final teaching credential practicum.
- 40 students completed their practicum in their own classrooms.
- Over 600 credential recommendations submitted to CCTC, including Adapted Physical Education and Speech Language Pathology.
- Credential advisors Abril Trasvina held monthly Group Info Sessions and custom recruitment meetings.
- SSPs participated in Fall New Student Orientation, promoting programs and services to new students and parents through bag items and popcorn ads.
