Cal State LA will re-open for CSU Concurrent Enrollment or Intersystem Cross Enrollment programs for Fall 2026.

However, matriculated students from other CSU campuses may take Cal State LA courses via the CSU Fully Online Courses program. See below for details.
Visiting students are degree-seeking students from other CA colleges or universities who want to take Cal State LA courses without formally transferring or being admitted to a Cal State LA program.
There are several enrollment options available through the CSU and other systems. Availability may vary by term and is often based on space and eligibility requirements. Review the options below to see what is currently open.
Enrollment Options for Visiting Students
CSU Fully Online – OPEN
CSU students in good standing may request to enroll in one course per term offered by another CSU campus, including Cal State LA.
- Enrollment depends on available space and prerequisite completion
- Courses appear on your home CSU transcript
- Must be approved through your home campus
CSU Concurrent Enrollment – re-opens Fall 2026
Current CSU students in good standing may enroll at another CSU campus for one term.

- Courses appear on your home CSU transcript, at the student’s request
- Must be approved through your home campus

Intersystem Cross Enrollment – Re-opens Fall 2026
Current California Community College (CCC) or University of California (UC) students to take one course per term at another institution.
- Enrollment depends on available space
- Must be approved through your home CCC/UC school
