You're in!
Congratulations on your provisional admission to Cal State LA! Follow these important steps to finalize your admission and ensure a smooth transition to the University.
Next Steps
To secure your spot, be sure to complete all requirements on time. Otherwise, your admission offer may be withdrawn, and you won’t be able to enroll in the admitted term. If you decide not to enroll or withdraw from all courses, you will need to reapply in the future and meet the requirements in effect at that time.
Note: All offers of admission are provisional and subject to verification based on official transcripts and test scores.
Accept our offer of admission by submitting your $100 (USD) Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD).
ECD Deadlines
- May 1 for fall admission
- November 1 for spring admission
For more information, visit the Enrollment Confirmation Deposit webpage.
Your MyCalStateLA ID is required to log in to the myCalStateLA portal - your access to a range of University services, including your student email and GET (Golden Eagle Territory).
GET is where you view updates from University offices, register for classes, check your financial aid status and handle other student business.
More information about GET is available on the Registrar's GET webpage.
Admission offers are usually provisional because some admission requirements may still be in progress when you first applied.
To finalize your admission eligibility, make sure you meet all admission requirements by the end of spring (for Fall admission) or summer (for Spring admission).
If you were offered admission to a program with major-specific criteria, you must also meet those requirements.
Your admission may be finalized after we verify your official final transcripts (and test scores). If you do not end up meeting all admission requirements, the offer of admission may be rescinded.
If admitted, you may be asked to submit official transcripts twice:
- First, to confirm you are on track for admission.
- And again, after you finish your final term’s courses.
Please plan to submit your official transcripts and test scores by the following deadlines:
