Your admission requirements depend on your educational background. Choose the applicant type below that best describes you.

 

What type of applicant are you?

After You Apply

If you've served in the U.S. military, please submit:

  • DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty), if applicable
  • Military transcripts, such as Joint Services Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force transcript

Eligible military veterans applying to undergraduate programs receive Local Preference, regardless of their school of origin.

Military education and training may be evaluated for transferable college credit.

Veteran Support at Cal State LA

The Veteran Resource Center (VRC) helps military-connected students transition to university life by connecting with campus resources and support services. The VRC can assist with:
