Along with co-presenters Lois Weinburg and Andrea Zetlin, this training presentation addressed over 250 Los Angeles County Multidisciplinary Assessment Team (MAT) assessors on how to navigate the school system, advocate for the needs of foster care children, and obtain information and direction in navigating the special education process.

A session at the California Science Teachers Association's California Science Education Conference, October 27-29, 2013, for elementary school teachers to help children understand severe weather conditions, hazards, and appropriate responses - to be a Weather Ready Nation (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration).  The YMP is an online game for Grades 3 - 6 which ends with earning a "Young Meteorologist Certificate".
