The Center for the Study of Genders and Sexualities is happy to announce its 19th Annual Student Research Conference. The Conference is open to all students at Cal State LA and beyond, and the conference will be held in person all day on Friday April 28th.
Please submit individual paper proposals or full, faculty-led panel proposals. Abstracts of 250 words pertaining to the annual intersectional theme of Gender, Sexuality, and Power are due March 23rd. We invite all undergraduate and graduate students to submit abstracts (see flyer for details).
All CSULA students are eligible for one of ten $500 awards for outstanding scholarship.
We are very excited to announce that this year’s keynote will be Dean Spade, law professor at Seattle University School of Law, founder for the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, and author of Normal Life and Mutual Aid.
