Housing COVID-19 Safety
County, state, and CSU safety protocols related to COVID-19 remain in place, including the guidelines and restrictions listed below. Monitor the Health Watch website for up-to-date information.
Vaccines, Boosters & Exemptions
Residential students are currently required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and must also receive a booster dose for Spring 2022. Please be sure to maintain verification of your vaccination.
Exemptions are allowed for health and religious reasons and must be approved in advance of moving in. Residents with approved exemptions will be required to test on a regular basis.
COVID-19 Testing
Bi-weekly testing is required for residents with vaccine and booster exemptions.
Students who test positive have the option to quarantine on campus or go home. Students who choose to stay on campus are assigned a room for 10 days. Meals are delivered each day during the quarantine period.
Mask Mandate
Residents and staff are required to wear masks in shared indoor spaces. Please wear a surgical mask or higher level PPE, such as an N95, KN95, or KF94. Surgical masks and higher-level PPE offer greater protection than cloth masks.
Guest Policy
Non-residential guests are not allowed. To protect the health and safety of the community, day, evening, or overnight guests who do not reside in on-campus housing are prohibited in your apartment or on the housing community grounds.
