Recognize Innovative Teaching
Faculty may submit themselves or colleagues for this initiative to recognize their innovative teaching techniques. We strongly encourage practices that align with and advance the Academic Plan, such as:
- Student-centered assignments designed for accessibility, belonging, cultural wealth, equity, or inclusion.
- Classroom activities that use active learning to increase student engagement.
- Innovative approaches to grading.
- Class policies or approaches to navigating Artificial Intelligence responsibly and transparently.
- Opportunities that help students build NACE career readiness competencies for their career and professional development.
- Any additional innovative, student-centered pedagogical strategies our faculty are using in the classroom.
