No, you can take the core courses and electives when they are offered. However, you have to make sure that if a course has a prerequisite, you take the prerequisite course first.
Depending on the course, you can request a course substitution. Please meet with the Program Advisor to discuss and request permission. Once you acquire permission, fill in a Graduate Course Substitution Request form.
