Every fall, the College of Business and Economics, in partnership with Accounting Society, ALPFA, and Beta Alpha Psi (BAP), hosts the annual Meet the Firms, one of our biggest career and networking events of the semester! Meet the Firms Flyer
Meet the Firms is more than just a fundraiser supporting our student organizations. It’s your opportunity to meet face-to-face with recruiters and industry professionals from a variety of business sectors who are looking to hire business majors for internships and full-time positions.
Whether you're actively looking for an opportunity or just starting to explore your career options, this is a great way to build your network, learn about employers, practice your professional introduction, and get your foot in the door!

2. L3Harris Procurement & Supply Chain Co-oP
L3Harris Technologies is offering a paid, one-year co-op at its Canoga Park location for students interested in supply chain management, procurement, operations, or finance. The student will support procurement activities for space and defense contracts while gaining hands-on experience working with engineering teams, quality personnel, and suppliers across the United States.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and sending requests for quotes to suppliers
- Evaluating bids and conducting price analyses
- Creating and monitoring purchase orders
- Tracking hardware and providing order updates
- Resolving invoice and supplier-account issues
- Preparing nondisclosure agreements
- Communicating with internal departments and external suppliers
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Be a junior, senior with up to one year remaining, or graduate student
- Major in finance, supply chain, or a related business field
- Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Remain enrolled at an accredited university throughout the program
- Work 15–25 hours per week while taking classes or 35–40 hours when not enrolled in classes
- Be available to work primarily on-site under the company’s 9/80 schedule
Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, communication, writing, organizational, teamwork, and Microsoft Office skills. They should also be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple projects.

3. CBE Student Research Assistant-Fall 2026-Spring 2027
Dr. Battle in the College of Business and Economics is hiring a student assistant to support a research project during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
- Pay: $16.20 per hour
- Schedule: Approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Work format: Primarily remote, with occasional office or Zoom meetings for training
- Preferred skill: Strong Excel proficiency
- Eligibility: Open to students from all majors across the university
- Training: Qualitative research analysis training will be provided
- CITI certification: Not required to apply; assistance with training and possible cost support may be available
