The Department offers rigorous academic and much needed technical training in urban and environmental issues. Our students will have both the technical and planning know-how to tackle a number of sustainability issues in Los Angeles and beyond.
Bachelor of Science: APPLIED ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
Applied Environmental Science prepares students to address environmental challenges such as climate change, water resources, pollution, urban sustainability, and environmental justice. Through interdisciplinary, hands-on study, students develop the scientific and technical skills needed to understand environmental problems and develop practical solutions.
