Graduate Degree Programs

The Department offers two postgraduate Master of Science degrees: M.S. in Geological Sciences (with options in Geology and Environmental Hydrology), and M.S. in Environmental Science (4 options).

Master of Science: Geological Sciences

Prepares graduates for diverse career paths, including roles in industry, government agencies, teaching at the community college level, or continued academic research through a Ph.D. program.

Master of Science: Environmental Science

Prepares graduates for a wide range of careers in fields such as environmental research, policy development, regulatory compliance, project management, consulting, and education. Graduates often find roles within government agencies, private industry, non-profit organizations, and research institutions.
