Benefits Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment begins September 18 and ends October 13, 2023.

During Open Enrollment, you can enroll in, change or cancel the following benefit plans:

• CalPERS Health
• Delta Dental
• Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (must re-enroll each year)
  • Submit your completed forms by email to [email protected] or drop it off in Human Resources Management Office, Student Service Building, Room 6381.
• Health Care Reimbursement Account (must re-enroll each year)
  • Submit your completed forms by email to [email protected] or drop it off in Human Resources Management Office, Student Service Building, Room 6381.
• ARAG Legal Plan (enrollment may occur only during Open Enrollment)
  • Current active MetLife legal plan participants will be moved into ARAG effective January 1st. If they choose to cancel their coverage during Open Enrollment, their cancellation will take place with ARAG.
• Vision Service Plan (VSP) Basic and Premier Plans (enrollment and cancellation may occur only during Open Enrollment for the Premier Plan)
  • The Premier Plan can only be canceled during Open Enrollment after completing 12 months of enrollment
• The Standard Critical and Accident Insurance
• Add eligible dependents
• Remove dependents
• Cancel your existing CalPERS health coverage
• Enroll in a CalPERS health plan if you don't currently have coverage
• FlexCash is available if you are eligible for health and dental coverage and have other non-CSU group medical and/or dental coverage.
  • You may enroll in or make changes to your existing FlexCash election during open enrollment

If you aren't making changes to your coverage, no action is needed. Your current selections for these plans will automatically continue for 2024.

However, if you want to enroll in the Health Care or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account, you must re-enroll every year.
