Attracting, developing, and retaining talented employees is essential to advancing the University’s mission and serving our students and the greater Los Angeles community. Through an equitable and thoughtful recruitment process, we seek individuals who bring their talents, experiences, and commitment to supporting student success and strengthening the Cal State LA community.

The campus uses Common Human Resources System (CHRS) powered by PageUp as its recruitment management system for hiring staff, management and academic positions. For more information on various staff/management appointment types, please see resources below.

Cal State LA is committed to promoting fair, equitable, and inclusive recruitment and selection practices that support the University’s ability to attract and hire a diverse and highly qualified workforce.

All search committee members participating in staff and management recruitments are required to complete the CSU Learn training, “Searches and Recruitment in the CSU,” prior to participating in the recruitment and selection process. The training provides guidance on equitable search practices, recruitment responsibilities, and conducting searches consistent with CSU requirements and principles.

Search committee members may access the required training through CSU Learn.
