"Connections, Collaborations and other Best Practices for Successful Applications to STEM Doctoral Programs"
This seminar presentation is intended to inform undergraduate and master’s students about essential strategies, practices, and timelines for achieving admissions into and success during doctoral programs at research universities. The presentation is intended to be seminar-style, with much student interaction, with a goal of providing student attendees with timeframes, formative direction, and actions for graduate education success. Accordingly, attendees should come with ideas and thoughts about their research focused career trajectories. Products resulting from the seminar will be student-centered outlines of timeframes and steps to success for graduate education in STEM.
