University parking is free for all Commencement ceremonies. Graduating candidates and their guests are encouraged to enter the campus from the north (Valley Boulevard) and east (Hellman Avenue) to help alleviate the traffic at the southern entrances to campus (the San Bernardino 10 Freeway and Eastern Avenue). Attendees will be directed to parking structures A, B or C (blue level).

Parking is on a first-come,  first-served basis. Therefore, we urge all attendees to arrive early and carpool, or use public transportation.

ADA Accessible Parking

Graduating candidates or guests with a DMV disabled parking placard or disabled plates will be directed to lots in close proximity to the University Athletics Stadium. Persons needing special assistance are encouraged to arrive up to 90 minutes prior to the ceremony.

If you have a guest with physical limitations who does not own a disabled placard, please stop by the Parking and Transportation Service Center at least three days prior to Commencement to obtain a special parking permit for an accessible lot (up to two permits per graduate). Wheelchairs are not available on campus.

A map with accessible parking locations will be available in April 2017.

First Aid

First aid will be provided to graduating candidates by the Student Health Center in non-emergency situations. In case of an emergency, graduating candidates or guests will be transported to the nearest hospital.
