Clinical Experience: Judith moved to Los Angeles in 1995 and was the Program Director at at a Partial Hospitalization Program for five years. She left healthcare in 2003 to raise her family and worked as a freelance writer, writing copy for movie trailers. She returned to her true passion, Clinical Social Work in 2015 joining the staff of Cal State LA in 2022.
Treatment Approach: Judith always takes the time to create a safe space for her clients She uses a blend of evidence based approaches including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Trauma informed Care, Mindfulness/Buddhist Psychology and Somatic Therapy. Judith stresses the most important element of treatment is self compassion and teaches her clients a variety of evidence-based grounding techniques including breath work and Mindfulness Meditation. She has a passion for working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the best care to her clients.

Interests: Judith lives with her husband, two young adult children, two dogs and two cats. She is the proud mother of two daughters and a fierce advocate of her transgender daughter. She enjoys cooking, hiking, ceramics and is an accomplished amateur sculptor.
