What is CHRS Recruiting?

CHRS Recruiting is built-in software called PageUp. This has allowed a common CSU-wide system foundation to be created, as well as permitting each campus to configure the software to best meet their needs and processes.

Applicant FAQs

Click on the apply button. You will then be prompted to complete an applicant profile.

You will be notified by email. Your status will change as your application moves through the recruitment cycle. Your status will be current each time you log-in.

You will be notified by e-mail, if your status has changed and have been selected to move onto the next phase of the recruitment cycle.

As a newly hired employee, you will receive orientation materials, forms to complete, and other required tasks to complete.

Hiring Manager FAQs

Positions will continue to be created as they currently are. You will continue to work closely with your Fiscal Resource Manager to fill a vacancy or create a new position.

Positions will be posted in CHRS Recruiting. The process will be very similar to current workflow processes, except that now it will be handled online through CHRS Recruiting. Approvals will be handled online as well.

You will be notified by email and dashboard notification that approval is required for a position description or job requisition to continue to move through the recruitment cycle.

You will be notified by a member of the Workforce Planning team when candidates are available and eligible for interviews.

You will be notified by a member of the Workforce Planning team when the final candidate has been approved for the hiring manager interview.

The selected candidate will be prompted by email to the new Onboarding portal. If you are required to do anything, you will also be prompted to log-in and complete any tasks assigned to you.

The Search Committee Chair can review the feedback from the search committee members. The Search Committee Chair must review the information provided by the members before making a recommendation to the hiring manage

When applications are moved to the search committee review status, search committee members see an alert on their dashboards indicating that a job has applicants waiting for review. Only when an applicant is moved to the search committee review status can the search committee access assigned applications.

Search committee members can then view the applications. When viewing applicants, committee members can do the following:

  • Review answers on the application.
  • Review the applicable documentation from the applicant.
  • Rate applicants against the selection criteria.
  • Add comments
