Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA)
ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals For America) was the first national Latino professional association in the United States, established in Los Angeles in 1972. Throughout our 43-year history we have experienced steady growth and demonstrated consistent value. In addition to networking and professional leadership development opportunities, our members have access to 50,000 paid summer internships through hundreds of Fortune 1000 corporate partners. We aspire to be the business partner of choice for companies seeking to hire and develop Latino talent.
The ALPFA Cal State LA Student Chapter is a professional student organization affiliate to ALPFA. In 2008, ALPFA CSULA joined over 50 other ALPFA Student Chapters nationwide which were founded based on the ideals, mission, and vision of ALPFA.
Beta Alpha Psi
The Beta Lambda chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, founded on January 1, 1961, is an international honors organization that enhances the university educational experience by providing interaction with practitioners, conducting technical and personal development programs through campus, regional and national meetings, while also promoting and encouraging community service.
By obtaining a membership in Beta Alpha Psi, you are also being recognized for your scholastic and professional accomplishments. Equally important, membership acknowledges capacity for professional success.

The Accounting Society
Accounting Society is a professional student organization within California State University, Los Angeles. AS is open to all students; even non-accounting majors. AS members have certain requirements to fulfill but will benefit from being members. AS is a great way for networking and development that will ultimately lead to members exhibiting our core foundations.
Accounting Society is committed to exposing students to opportunities for networking and career development that will prepare them for excellence in the field of accountancy.
