The Cal State LA VITA Program provides FREE tax return preparation services for members of the community and Cal State Los Angeles students. We offer 2024 tax preparation services at six sites this year!
- Cal State LA Campus Site: 3rd Floor of Salazar Hall, Room 358 – Parking is $5 for four hours in Structure A
- Cypress Park Branch Library – 1150 Cypress Ave., LA 90065
- Lincoln Heights Regional Library – 2530 Workman St., LA 90031
- El Sereno Branch Library – 5226 Huntington Dr. S., LA 90032
- Sunland-Tujunga Branch Library – 7771 Foothill Blvd., LA 91042
- Young & Healthy – 136 W. Peoria St., Pasadena (call 626-795-5166 for an appointment at Young & Healthy)
We will begin providing free services on Saturday, January 27, 2024. All sites are open Saturday mornings. Hours: 9 AM to 12:30 PM Campus Site. All other sites: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This service ends on April 13, 2024.
IMPORTANT! After April 13, 2024, we will continue to provide free tax services by appointment only. We can prepare your individual federal and state tax returns, including foreign student returns. Services will be provided on the Cal State LA campus on Mondays from 3 PM to 5 PM (Simpson Tower 513) and on Thursdays from 1 PM to 3 PM (Simpson Tower 514).
