Don't Pollute! Change the Way You Commute
Cal State LA is located in the heart of the largest and most transited city in the nation. Cal State LA’s Transportation Services Office strives to provide an extensive rideshare program to its faculty, staff, and students. Serving over 20,000 faculty, staff, and students, our goal is to provide convenient, inexpensive, and eco-friendly commuting alternatives to our population.
Mascots All Aboard!
All the cool kids are doing it: take the train to school! Students receive 25% of all Metrolink tickets and passes. Our very own Eddie the Golden Eagle rides the train with mascot friends from some of SoCal's best universities.
Metro Service Changes
More bus and rail service on September 12.
Check for updates on your bus or train schedule by using the My Bus Tool. A web page summarizing all bus and rail service changes is also available for download. If you use the Transit app, Metro's official smartphone app, a preview of the change will be available before September 12. In September, you will see more trips on weekdays and weekends as well as some updated routes. These changes are part of the continued deployment of Phase 2 NextGen Bus Plan to serve our riders with improved bus frequencies and a redesigned system. It also provides more service as the people of LA return to ride transit and improve your ride. As part of this round of changes, Metro is also expanding Metro Micro service in new areas.
