The University Library welcomes students, staff, faculty, and their families to our spaces to study, enjoy activities, find children's books and use our additional services. The University Library continues to transform our spaces to better serve all members of our community and would like to hear your thoughts and ideas! Study Rooms

Study Rooms

The library has group study rooms that each seat anywhere from 1 to 5 people and may be reserved by Cal State LA students, faculty, and staff for two hours per day up to 7 days in advance. Some rooms contain HD monitors you can plug your device into or a computer with an HD monitor, others contain whiteboards. These rooms are located on various levels of Library North and South.

Children's Books

Children's Books (a.k.a The Juvenile Collection)

The Library maintains a small collection of juvenile books for children and young adults. This collection is located on Level 3 North. These books are classified in the Dewey Decimal Classification System. You can search for Children's Books by using OneSearch and typing the name of the title or author. On the left side of the search results page, select Location = Children's Books.

You can also browse titles in the Children's Featured Book Collection.

Baby changing stations are available on the First Floor of Library Palmer Wing (LIB S 1067).
