Cal State LA College of Education: Transforming Lives Through Education

The Cal State LA College of Education (CoE) proudly prepares urban educators to serve children, youth, adults, and families in an array of educational institutions throughout Los Angeles and the greater community. Our proud alumni are making a difference in early childhood centers, K-12 schools, community colleges, universities, community-based organizations, and rehabilitation agencies throughout the region. These passionate and dedicated teachers, counselors, administrators, therapists, organizers and educational leaders are committed to uplifting and serving the communities they call home.

The cutting-edge professional programs offered by the CoE provide pathways for aspiring and current professionals in the field of education. Whether students are undergraduates, pursuing post-baccalaureate credentials, or studying in a master’s or doctoral program, CoE students engage with our dedicated faculty in courses, field work, clinical and research experiences that prepare them to further their intellectual and professional development for the important work that lies ahead of them.

We develop skilled, caring, and transformative educators, counselors, therapists, and educational leaders who uplift students, families, schools, and communities across our region.

Your financial support for the Cal State LA College of Education makes a difference in the lives of our students and the communities they serve. Given the critical educator shortage the region is currently facing, your investment truly makes a difference.

Under the leadership of Dean Marcos Pizarro and the amazing CoE staff and faculty, priorities for the College of Education Impact Fund include:

  • Getting students through tough times of transition and financial crisis.
  • Providing essential physical, mental, and emotional health services that promote well-being, healing, and hope.
  • Creating effective mentorship, leadership, and experiential learning opportunities within the College of Education and beyond.
  • Giving students career guidance, bolstered by an impactful alumni network.
  • Supporting teacher and counselor candidates while engaging in clinical practice for their credentials.

Donate Now to the Cal State LA College of Education and support our students on the path toward realizing their dreams and uplifting our communities.
