Domestic Applicants
Applicants who are U.S. Citizens, U.S. Residents, or other U.S. immigrants.
The following majors are CLOSED to the indicated student types for Spring 2026:

Returning students are students who previously attended Cal State LA, earned units, and are returning to complete their degrees.

International Applicants
Applicants who will require a F student visa to study in the United States.
Given the shortened application cycle, Cal State LA does not accept undergraduate applications from international applicants for Spring terms.
Cal State LA Downtown (DTLA)
Domestic transfers applicants interested in programs offered at the Cal State LA Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) location.
For Spring 2026, Cal State LA will not be taking applications for any of its Downtown LA undergraduate degree completion programs. If you are interested in one of these programs, please apply for Fall 2026 starting on October 1, 2025.
