Enrollment Confirmation Deposit Waiver Request

Cal State LA recognizes that some students and families may be experiencing financial hardship and may be unable to pay the $100 Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD). If you would like to reserve your space but cannot submit the deposit, you may request an ECD Waiver by the deadline for your admission term.

Please complete the form below accurately and provide a brief explanation of your financial hardship or any extenuating circumstances. Submission of an ECD Waiver Request confirms your intent to enroll at Cal State LA and your commitment to meet all admission and enrollment deadlines.

U.S. Military Students: Veterans, service members, and dependents using VA benefits under Chapter 31 (Veteran Readiness & Employment) or Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 G.I. Bill) are eligible to apply for the ECD waiver. When submitting your request, you must indicate which chapter you will be using. Only these two programs qualify.

After submitting your request, please allow 5-8 business days for processing. Do not submit the ECD payment while your waiver request is under review. If you choose to pay the deposit and your waiver is later approved, the deposit will not be refunded; however, it will be applied toward your admission term tuition and fees. All updates will be sent to the preferred email address listed in your GET account.
