Enrollment Confirmation Deposit Waiver Request

Cal State LA understands that some students and families may be experiencing financial hardship and may be unable to pay the $100 Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD). If you wish to reserve your seat but cannot submit the deposit, you may request an ECD Waiver by the deadline for your admission term.

Please complete the form below accurately and briefly explain your financial hardship or extenuating circumstances. Submitting an ECD Waiver Request confirms your commitment to attend Cal State LA and to meet all admission and enrollment deadlines.

U.S. Military Students: Veterans, servicemembers, and dependents using VA benefits under Chapter 31 (Veteran Readiness & Employment) or Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 G.I. Bill) may apply for an ECD waiver. In the waiver request, you must specify which chapter you will be using. Only these two programs qualify.

After submission, please allow 7–10 business days for processing of the ECD waiver request. If you submit an ECD payment before your waiver is approved, the payment is non-refundable but will be applied to your tuition and fees. If your waiver is not approved, you will be notified to submit payment. All updates will be sent to your preferred email listed in your GET account.
