We know that succeeding in college is a journey that not only you partake in, but also your friends and family. This semester, we would like to give you the opportunity to highlight the family support members who have helped you the most along the way.
In a brief essay (250-400 words), describe a family support member (mom or dad, aunt, grandfather, cousin, close family friend, etc.) who has helped you in some way while you’ve been here at Cal State LA, and tell us what they did! Six essays will be selected, and those students and their families will be invited to attend our closing Parent Academy event this March. We are looking for up to three stories to be shared in English and up to three stories to be shared in Spanish.
