Health Education

The mission of the Health Promotion and Education Center is to support academic excellence through the implementation of inclusive, evidence-based health and wellness programs. We strive to collaborate with campus stakeholders to provide all students with foundational knowledge and skills to achieve lifelong wellbeing and foster a healthy campus environment.

Golden Eagle Wellness 101

Golden Eagle Wellness 101 (formerly known as “Quick Facts”) is a highly requested guest lecture. It is ideal for Introduction to Higher Education courses.

Naloxone Administration Training

This training teaches participants how to recognize the sign of an opioid overdose and administer the reversal agent Narcan (Naloxone).

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training is available for Cal State LA students, faculty, and staff. Learn how to help others experiencing a mental health challenge.
