Degree and License: Osmara obtained her doctorate in Community College Leadership at CSUF and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Areas of Specialty: Trauma Informed, Cultural Safety, TF-CBT, Mindfulness, Grief & Loss, Crisis Intervention, bilingual/bicultural/biliterate in Spanish.
Clinical Experience: Osmara has been a mental health clinical provider for over 20 years. She has over 12 year’s experience in working in higher education. Her interest areas are the following: working with first-generation college students, trauma informed care, cultural safety, TF-CBT, mindfulness, grief & loss, and crisis intervention.
Treatment Approach: Osmara uses an eclectic approach to treatment, one that is tailored to the need of each individual student. Osmara is bilingual, bicultural and biliterate in Spanish.

Interests: When not at work, Osmara enjoys going on hikes, paddle boarding, traveling and spending time with her family.
