Degree and License: Liz earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Cal State Fullerton and Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Areas of Specialty: Individual Counseling, Group Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, EMDR, Crisis Intervention, First Generation, BIPOC and immigrant/undocumented populations. Holistic and liberatory practices.  Queer and neurodivergent affirming.

Clinical Experience: 12 years working in a variety of clinical settings such as community mental health, school-based programs, and higher education.

Treatment Approach: Liz’s clinical work is integrative, combining western clinical approaches (EMDR, CBT/DBT, Seeking Safety) and holistic, anti-colonial healing practices through a liberatory and social justice lens. Her approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. Liz enjoys collaborating with students to increase their awareness of the intersections of their identities, sociocultural expectations and how it impacts their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. They are committed to guiding students to center joy through self-care, self-love and self-compassion.
